Privacy Policy

We don't store your CV on our servers. We don't create accounts. We don't sell your data. Your CV is processed in real time and discarded immediately after analysis.

1. Who we are

Jobsponsor.uk is a CV-matching tool that helps job seekers find UK Skilled Worker visa-sponsored jobs. We are based in the United Kingdom. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at support@jobsponsor.uk.

2. What data we collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the service:

•Your CV file — uploaded by you for analysis. It is sent to our analysis service and immediately discarded. We do not store it.
•Job preferences — location, job type, experience level. Stored only in your browser (localStorage). We never see this.
•Credit tokens — a signed token stored in your browser that tracks how many searches you've purchased. We do not store this server-side.
•Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
•Email address — only if you choose to receive a credit recovery email. Used solely to send you your recovery code.
•Basic analytics — via Google Analytics (page views, device type). No personally identifiable information is collected.

3. How we use your data

•To analyse your CV and return job match results
•To process your payment and deliver your purchased credits
•To send a credit recovery email if you request one
•To improve the service through anonymised usage analytics

4. Data sharing

We use the following third-party services to operate the app. Your data may be processed by them as described:

•Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
•Resend — transactional email (credit recovery only). See Resend's Privacy Policy.
•Vercel — hosting. Your IP may be logged in server access logs. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
•Google Analytics — anonymous usage statistics. See Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data with any other third party.

5. Cookies and local storage

We do not use tracking cookies. We use your browser's localStorage to store your credit token and job preferences locally on your device. This data never leaves your browser unless you explicitly use the credit recovery feature.

6. Your rights (UK GDPR)

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Since we store almost nothing server-side, there is typically very little to delete. To exercise your rights, email support@jobsponsor.uk.

7. Data retention

CV files: not retained (processed in real time and discarded). Payment records: retained by Stripe per their policy. Recovery emails: not stored after sending. Analytics: aggregated and anonymised.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
